FAQs

What am I
registered for?
This is easy peasy! Just look on the student portal under "My AOMA" on www.aoma.edu. It has all of your classes and clinics AND special things like portfolio reviews and the benchmark exam.
Where do I find the zoom link for my class?
Go on the student portal under "My AOMA" on www.aoma.edu.
Select the course you're concerned about.
-
Check Course Hyperlinks
-
If not there, check Course Documents
-
If not there or not enabled, email your professor.
If none of those work, email your program director:
Dr. Phil Garrison PGarrison@aoma.edu or
Dr. Violet Song VSong@aoma.edu
How Many clinic hours do I have?
Go on the student portal under "My AOMA" on www.aoma.edu.
Run a Degree Audit
All clinic credits are updated by week 3 for the previous term.

Your clinics will show up as credits, so you need to do a little math. Each credit equates to 24 hours of clinic time.
That means every summer rotation with 24 hours is 1 credit, and every longer session clinic with 36 hours is 1.5 credits.

Example:
I have 1.375 clinic credits for my fall rotation. What does that mean?
1.375 * 24 hours = 33 hours
a Fall rotation is 36 hours
I missed one clinic during that Fall rotation.
Therefore, I can do a break week clinic to make it up.

Check your student clinic manual for rules on attendance and makeup clinics.

I'm 2 terms From Graduating! WOOT!
What do I need to do?
Go to www.aoma.edu and click the hamburger menu that looks like three lines in the top corner. Under student, select Registrar.

Click "Graduation" on the header options.

You are about to start a wee bit of a marathon, so make sure you read this page thoroughly. One of the key pieces is to be sure to apply your second to last term. You want to be staying on top of your own degree audits, but this will ensure that if there are any surprises in your degree audit by the registrar, you will have time to do what you need to do. If you have any questions about your degree and/or graduation requirements, contact an academic advisor or your program director.

Dr. Diane Stanley is knowledgeable and happy to help, but she is not a subject matter expert.
I'm looking for
a form
Whether you need a transcript or to reschedule an exam, there's a catch-all page for all the forms you could possibly need!

Go to www.aoma.edu and click the hamburger menu that looks like three lines in the top corner. Under student, select Registrar.

Click "Transcripts and Forms" on the header options.

You may have to scroll for what you need, but if it is a form that is unrelated to graduation or financial aid, it's most likely there. You should also check out the Important Links Page here on AOMA Life!

AND be sure to check out the pages devoted to your degree programs here on AOMA Life!
