Any new cases stemming from the loosened restrictions in the state including gyms, retail and restaurants will not be reflected in the new daily totals for another week or two. The Austin zip code with largest number of new cases is 78705 which is adjacent to UT campus. UT has had over 600 reported cases.
-AISD will start on campus in two weeks, will have pods for students with on-line with proctor in the classroom. Will start with 25% capacity. Parents still have option to keep their children at home.
-If AOMA employees have their children will have Safety discussion.
-Safety guideline is on Student and Faculty portals including how screening is occurring.
2.Updates on any action items:
-From Saturday’s Supervisor meeting it was agreed that face shields should always be worn by students and faculty while in the Clinic. Everyone in the Clinic should use surgical masks not cloth masks, this includes Clinic Staff.
-Will be doing a dry run for returning to clinical rotation at PCC this week
